Does a padel court come with a warranty? What is the general warranty period?
Formal manufacturers provide a warranty: the frame structure (steel/aluminum) is generally 2-5 years, the synthetic turf is 1-3 years, the tempered glass and metal mesh are 1-2 years, and the installation labor is at least 1 year. The warranty period varies by manufacturer and material grade.
What factors affect the price of a padel court?
The main factors include: material grade (certified vs. ordinary materials), court type (outdoor/indoor, standard/customized size), supporting facilities (lighting, scoreboards, rest benches, fencing), construction site (transportation costs, foundation reconstruction costs), and after-sales service (maintenance, warranty).
How to maintain the synthetic turf surface of the padel court?
Regularly clean (sweep with a soft-bristle broom, vacuum to remove sand, dust and small debris);
Rinse with water (outdoor courts) to remove stains, avoid using corrosive cleaning agents;
Repair damaged turf in time (fill with special sand, glue the loose turf);
Avoid heavy objects pressing on the turf for a long time and sharp tools scratching the surface.
Is there a difference between a professional competition padel court and a casual recreational one?
Yes. Professional courts use World Padel Tour (WPT) certified materials (e.g., specific density synthetic turf, high-strength tempered glass), higher construction precision (foundation flatness, wall installation error is stricter), and are equipped with professional lighting, scoreboards and spectator areas; casual courts can appropriately reduce material standards and supporting facilities to save costs.
What are the requirements for the ground foundation of a padel court?
The foundation needs to be flat, hard and have good drainage. Common foundations are concrete (poured and leveled, error within ±3mm/m) or asphalt; a certain slope (1-2%) is required to avoid water accumulation, and the foundation needs to be solid to prevent settlement.
Is padel the same as tennis? What are the key differences?
No. Padel uses solid paddles (no strings) and perforated balls, while tennis uses strung rackets and solid balls; padel courts are smaller with enclosed walls (walls can be used to rebound the ball), tennis courts are open and larger; padel scoring is the same as tennis, but the playing rules (e.g., wall rebounds) and court operations are very different.
What is a padel court?
Padel court is a rectangular enclosed court for playing padel, a racket sport combining tennis and squash. It is smaller than a tennis court, surrounded by glass and metal mesh walls, and played with solid paddles and perforated balls by 2 or 4 players.
